  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand our database of prospects
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
  • Support sales executives with SalesForce record keeping, proposal creation, and prospect follow-ups
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of directly applicable inside sales/SDR experience
  • SaaS experience
  • Proven success meeting/exceeding quota objectives

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Experience selling smart on-premises equipment with embedded analytics, powered by cloud services
  • Experience successfully selling sustainability solutions
  • Experience working with or for a mission driven enterprise
  • Food Services industry experience a plus (but if you don’t have it, we can immerse you)

Key Competencies

  • Passionate about food waste prevention and making a measurable difference in our world
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day

  • Superior interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Positive attitude, ambitious, motivated with a passion to “win”
  • Flexible and adaptable, effective “problem solver” comfortable with high growth environments
  • Ability to empathize with our client organizations' challenges and find creative solutions to accelerate their food waste reduction efforts
  • Entrepreneurial, creative and have good general management/business acumen
  • Independent self-starter capable of working with a remotely located supervisor, and with a strong commitment to teamwork
  • Adept at communicating value propositions via phone, web-based presentations and in person
